The repair process methods of commonly used characters in blanking dies are as follows:

(1) One method for grinding dull convex and concave molds is to use oil stone and kerosene or air-driven grinding wheel. The other method is to use a surface grinder.

(2) To repair the convex and concave molds with larger gaps, first use the appropriate size block gauge to detect the gap between the convex and concave molds. If the gap is not large, only need to sharpen the surface of the cutting edge and then trim with oilstone. If the gap is too large, use oxygen first. -Acetylene gas welding is heated and reddened and forged locally. The punching die should be knocked around the edge of the die to ensure the size of the punch. For the blanking die, the punch should be knocked to ensure the size of the die. The percussion extension size is uniform. After that, you can stop the percussion, but continue to heat for a few minutes to eliminate the internal stress.After cooling, use the embossing file repair method to re-adjust the gap, and use flame surface quenching.

(3) Grinding convex and concave molds with uneven gaps.


In addition to natural wear and tear, there are the following two situations:

1) The cylindrical pin is loose and loses its positioning ability, causing the convex and concave molds to be misaligned and causing uneven gaps. The convex and concave molds should be aligned and restored uniformly, and then tightened with screws, reaming the original pin hole by 0.1~0.2mm, and refitting Non-standard cylindrical pins.

2) The guide device is worn, the accuracy is reduced, and the guiding effect is not achieved, so that the convex and concave molds are relatively offset. The surface of the guide post needs to be chrome-plated, and then the grinding method is used to grind and match the guide sleeve until the original fit clearance and accuracy level are restored.

3) Replace small punching and blanking punches.
