(1) Question: what is size?

Answer: Apologies for delay in responding to your question - (Bank Holiday not been on computer,) Size of Fairy of the West Wind is, in total, that is, lowest toe tip to highest wing tip 48cm. Sitting - top of head to sitting base 22cm and knee to toe is 17cm, Flute is 16cm long, overall width which is mostly wing span is 34cm approx. this is a lovely ornament for either indoor or outdoor use. the pictures dont do it justice. Some may think a bit pricey but this is Toscano and therefore good quality with quite amazing detail even down to her fingernails! I have her sat on the edge of a raised pond and she looks lovely however, if you intend to use outside I would recommend securing her as my first one blew off in strong wind and the wing tips got broken but she is still useable with the back hidden against a plant. I have secured my second fairy to the flagged edge of the pond with Gorilla glue and this has proved to be very effective (Glue available at most DIY stores, Wilkinson, B&Q etc. If you wish to display her indoors securing her would not be necessary and she would look lovely sat on the edge of a shelf. In my opinion well worth a purchase, enjoy her. Prices do vary quite a lot, one site £65 but at Greenfingers.com £39.99 so advise looking at various sites for cheapest option before you buy.
